Reniel Is Here: Artist Led Dinner
Fountainhead is excited to debut its artist-led dinner series, an intimate sensory experience transporting guests into the inner-worlds of alumni artists. Hosted at unconventional locations across Miami, each dinner pairs an alumni artist with a top local chef, who dream up a menu inspired by the artists’ work and personal history. Driven aesthetically by each artist, each event will capture a distinct mood and spirit, celebrating the artist and their creative practice.
Our inaugural dinner celebrates 2024 alum Reniel Del Rosario on the occasion of his solo exhibition at Primary, Reniel is Here. Reniel’s practice references hyperconsumption and waste in an increasingly globalized world. His installations typically consist of hundreds of cermaic objects mimicking food, cigarettes, dollar store trinkets, and more.
His inaugural solo exhibition at Primary Projects will incorporate hundreds of ceramic objects made to resemble Miami’s iconic roadside fruit stand Robert is Here, and is the backdrop from which Reniel has envisioned this evening.
Korean-born chef Jonathan Jordan, who currently helms fine dining at the members-only Harbour Club and was previously the Chef de Cuisine at Nobu and the Head Chef at Katsuya, has designed a purposeful menu honoring Reniel’s Filipino heritage while highlighting seasonal fruits and vegetables sourced directly from Robert is Here.
In addition to an exquisite four-course dinner, attendees will take home a unique ceramic object by Reniel as part of their table setting.
Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are available now.
